      cowpokes in this rootin’ tootin’ roundup of favorite songs from days gone

      season with a “good scrubbing from head to toe?” Share the holiday

      favorite customs have come from in this musical celebration of the season!

      Perfect for those dark winter days! Children are invited to wear pajamas 
      and bring a favorite stuffed
      animal and blanket. This concert includes songs about nocturnal animals

      Join this musical celebration of poetry, as you sing, dance, and play with 
      words that rhyme. 
      SING INTO READING! 
      Join this musical celebration of Early Literacy. Songs are one of the most 
      effective ways for children to learn the six pre-reading skills. Parents 
      are invited to bring their children as they sing and play with words 
      together while receiving important information about Early Literacy. The 
      program includes hand-outs that outline the six skills and list fun ways 
      to reinforce them at home using books and songs. Nancy is developing a 
      companion CD with the music for this program.

      These musical experiments will have children exploring gravity, 
      electricity, colors, space, and much more!

      SEEDS AND BONES 
      A musical journey around the world! From goats’ toenails to gourds and 
      stones, anything that makes a sound can make a rhythm! See, hear, and sing 
      with unusual rhythm instruments from around the world. Then take home 
      ideas for making your own instruments from things in your own world! 
      
      DINOSAURS GALORE! 
      An educational and entertaining concert which explores the “lighter” side 
      of dinosaurs! Highlights include the choreographed number Continental 
      Drift, and I’m a Paleontologist. 
      
      HOORAY FOR WASHINGTON!  
      Children will learn all about our state in this fun-filled concert 
      featuring Sadie the Slimy Slug ( 3-foot singing puppet), a “live” map of 
      Washington, a Products Rap, and many other songs.
       
      HELLO HOUSE! 
      A special concert filled 
with important information about home safety and conservation. Learn more and

      CONCERT IN THE CASTLE 
      Children are invited to wear their favorite royal costumes in the concert

For Librarians:  
      
Nancy will show you ways to incorporate music into your story times using
simple songs, props, homemade instruments, and books. Handouts provided. 
      
For Parents:  
Music and Your Baby 
Parents of young children will learn how important
 music is in early childhood development, and ways to use books and songs with
their children at home.

For Childcare Providers:  
      
Daycare and other childcare providers will learn
 15-20 simple songs and ways to use them with young children, as well as
homemade instruments and  
information on the value of music for the young

Fees
 
Fees vary depending on location
(inside or outside Seattle area), and number
of bookings. Typically the fee is $250 per
concert, but multiple bookings can lower the cost. Since every library has a
different budget, Nancy will be happy to work with you.
