To go along
with my summer reading program concerts (She Sings Sea Songs), I’m
offering this song I wrote to sing with my homemade African
tambourines.
You can find instructions on how do make them
HERE.
They are a
fun project which younger children can participate in, or older
children can make by themselves. They take two hands to play, so are a
bit unusual. See if you can think of some other songs to sing with
them!
Shells
1. Shells
from under the ocean, shells from under the sea
If you find a pretty shell,
you can bring it home to me
2. Shells
from the coast of Africa, or from the Florida keys
If you find a pretty shell,
you can bring it home to me
3. Shells
the colors of a rainbow, or shells as white as can be
If you find a pretty shell you
can bring it home to me
4. Shells
from under the ocean, shells from under the sea
If you find a pretty shell you
can bring it home to me
