This is a great little dinosaur song to do with a small class or your own children. The melody is simple since it just goes up and down the musical scale.
Begin this song curled up in a ball and just follow the lyrics to standing, stomping, and sitting back down. Repeat, asking children what dinosaurs they are.

Here’s a Baby Dinosaur
Based on Here’s Baby Birdie, traditional

Here’s a baby dinosaur, he’s hatching from his shell

Out pops his head, then comes his tail

Next his legs he stretches, he give a great big roar

Then he stomps, and stomps, and stomps

And sits back on the floor

Down, down, down, down, down, down, down, BOOM!
