Peek-a-Boo
|
Sing this simple peek-a-boo song with the provided printable
book and a small teddy bear. Have the bear hiding behind the
book, and pop him out on the “peek,” and at the end of each
verse, or whenever you want! You can also sing this with objects
instead of the book, (blanket, couch, or whatever you have
around you). Babies never get tired of playing peek-a-boo, and I
think one of the reasons is the element of surprise followed by
the adult’s delight at the baby’s response (triggering a
delighted response from the baby)!
I’ve provided two versions of the book. The landscape version is
great when placed in a three-ring binder. You can then use the
binder like an easel as you turn the pages with one hand, and
hold the teddy bear with the other. I have a teddy puppet so I
can make him play peek-a-boo too as I bring him out.

Peek-a-boo, I see you, hiding behind the bed
Peek-a-boo, I see you, teddy, I see you there
Peek-a-boo, I see you, hiding behind the chair
Peek-a-boo, I see you, teddy, I see you there
Peek-a-boo, I see you, hiding behind the tree
Peek-a-boo, I see you, teddy, I see you there
Peek-a-boo, I see you, hiding behind the doggie
