All
Around The Kitchen
TRADITIONAL

|
This
traditional song is just plain fun, and a great way to get some
wiggles out! Everyone who sings this song seems to make up his
own verses (which is what I have done). So feel free to
improvise! Simply march around the room following the directions
in each verse. This song has some “attitude,” so be sure to put
a little swagger in your walk. When you get to the chorus line,
“Put your hands on your hips, stop in place and do the motions
through the end of the verse, then begin walking again on “All
around the kitchen.”
All Around The Kitchen
CHORUS:
All around the kitchen, cocka-doodle doodle doo
All around the kitchen, cocka-doodle doodle doo
Put your hands on your hips, cocka-doodle doodle doo
Let your right foot slip, cocka-doodle doodle doo
1. Then you jump up and down, cocka-doodle doodle doo
Then you turn around, cocka-doodle doodle doo (CHORUS)
2. Then you swing your hips, cocka-doodle doodle doo
Then you wiggle your lips cocka-doodle doodle doo (CHORUS)
3. Then you stand real tall, cocka-doodle doodle doo
Then you get real small, cocka-doodle doodle doo (CHORUS)
4. Then you jump up and down, cocka-doodle doodle doo
Then you turn all around cocka-doodle doodle doo
Then you touch the ground, cocka-doodle doodle doodle,
doodle doo
