This little traditional song is packed with building blocks of early learning! Most importantly, it’s simple and easy to sing. When done with movement it’s great for large motor skills which helps build executive function in the brain.

Use the free printable Little Wordless Book to reinforce all of the early literacy skills. Print it out and follow the video instructions for turning a single printed sheet into a little book.

I’m a Little Teapot

I’m a little teapot short and stout
(standing)
Here is my handle, here is my spout
(stand with one hand on hip, and other hand out to side for spout)
When I get all steamed up hear me shout
Just tip me over and pour me out.
(tip body to side as if pouring)
