Silly Goat Song

A goat has teeth in the bottom of his mouth,
The bottom of his mouth, the bottom of his mouth
A goat has teeth in the bottom of his mouth
But no teeth on the top

(Point to bottom, jaw, then top)

A goat’s eyes pupils are rectangular,
Rectangular, rectangular

   (draw large rectangle around eyes)

A goat’s eyes pupils are rectangular,
And he sure can see a lot

When a goat gives birth we say she’s kidding,
We say she’s kidding, we say she’s kidding

   (pretend to rock baby arms)
When a goat gives birth we say she’s kidding,
And I’m not kidding around

(pretend to rock a baby in arms)

Goats like to travel around in herds,
Around in herds, around in herds

(open hands circle in front of body)
Goats like to travel around in herds.
At least that’s what I’ve heard

   (hand cupped over ear)

Did you know that goats all burp a lot,
They burp a lot, they burp a lot

   (hand in front of mouth)

Did you know that goats all burp a lot,
You can hear them burping in the barn

Now this is the end of my silly goat song,
My silly goat song, my silly goat song

(pretend to conduct orchestra in large movements)
This is the end of my silly goat song,
It’s the end of my song and I hope you sang along!
