Here’s a little song just for fun!. Children will have a great time making the crowing sound, and it’s an excellent way to use up all that boundless energy!

The Rooster Song

Had a little rooster he’d sit up on a gate

And wake us every morning so we’d never be late

He’d sing cock-a-doodle-doo,  (crow ;like a rooster)

Cock-a-doodle-doo (crow ;like a rooster)

A rooster’s not a chicken he’s a different bird

And you would know for certain if you’d ever heard

His cock-a-doodle-doo, (crow ;like a rooster)

Cock-a-doodle-doo  (crow like a rooster)

You can sing his song and sound like a rooster too, cock-a-doodle-doo

I don’t know how the rooster sings his song so loud

But you can hear him far away or even in a noisy crowd

I lie in bed and try to just ignore the rooster’s song

You know it’s just so easy you can’t help but sing along

With his cock-a-doodle-do,  (crow like a rooster)

Cock-a-doodle-do  (crow like a rooster)

You can sing his song and sound like a rooster too, cock-a-doodle-doo

You can sing his song and sound like a rooster too,

Cock-a-doodle-doodle-ee-doo   (crow like a rooster)
